Cook the sprouted green peas with twice the water in a pressure cooker.
Add half teaspoon turmeric powder, cumin seeds, 2 sliced green chilies and pinch of salt while cooking the peas.
Do not overcook. Now let's make a spice mix with grated coconut, add 2 green chilies, black pepper, tamarind, turmeric powder. Grind this to fine paste.
Now in a pan take oil. Once hot add mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida and some cilantro.
Add boiled green peas to this. Stir well. Add the grind paste to the pan. Curry thickness can be decided as per your choice.
Add remaining salt as per taste. Stir well.
Add the remaining cilantro and serve hot.
