Tomato Carrot Beetroot Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups Tomatoes Chopped
  • ¼ Cup Beetroot peeled and chopped
  • ¼ cup Carrots chopped
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Ghee or Oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Ginger
  • 1 small piece of cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Cilantro chopped
  • ! tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • clean all the vegetables with water.
  • chop tomatoes, and carrots
  • peel the beetroot and chop into pieces
  • Take a pan, add all the above chopped vegetables and ginger into the pan and add enough water to cook the vegetables.
  • You can also pressure cook the vegetables for 2 to 3 whistles.
  • Once it’s cooked, cool it down completely and blend it in the blender.
  • take a pan add a Ghee or oil.
  • add cumin seeds and cinnamon.
  • add the mixture which have Blended into the pan
  • strain the mixture especially if you are making this for kids
  • Adjust the consistency by adding water.
  • Add Salt as per taste.
  • bring soup to boil
  • add chopped cilantro, black pepper and lemon juice
  • serve it warm
